MN Cars & Coffee Banner

We are excited to announce that the new home of MN Cars & Coffee™ is Canterbury Park!!

This location has been on our radar for some time now because of their massive parking lots, along with other fun offerings. Because of this, we’ll be able to double the number of show cars each month!

As always, our events will be FREE to participate (or just spectate).

Food trucks: FINALLY we can bring in multiple food trucks each month, so come hungry!

Canterbury will also be selling beer and refreshments too.

General Parking – no more parking blocks away to enjoy the show. We’ll have plenty of spectator parking right next to the show cars.

Multiple spots to enter and exit the show! Look for a detailed map soon, and look for of our new signage to help direct you.

The lot will be sectioned off by category, allowing you to park near others of the same marque. You will receive a map of the layout when you arrive, and C&C staff will be on-hand to direct you, as always.

We are so excited to take C&C to the next level. Join us on June 3 from 8AM to 11AM. Be sure to stick around for the launch of the Kannonball Rally at 11AM too!

Hello C&C Community!

After nine great seasons at the AutoMotorPlex, we are excited to announce that we are moving the shows effective immediately. However, there will not be a show this Saturday because our new location isn’t ready for 10K+ people yet 🙂

What happened?

We have been wanting to move the event for some time now. It’s obvious that we’ve outgrown the Motorplex, and our plan was to move the event for the 2018 season.

After our last massive show in April, we had a meeting with the City of Chanhassen. Lt Eric Kittleson of Carver County deemed the event a public safety concern. Even after nine years of zero incidents, he recommended to the city manager (Todd Gerhardt – that the following changes must be made in order to continue the show in Chanhassen.

1). Reduce show attendance by 80%

2). Pre-sell tickets to all attendees and guests.

3). Eliminate all street parking in the area. Yes, even parking on public streets.

4). Utilize the local park and ride facilities, then rent buses to transport ALL attendees to the show…at our expense.

Lt Kittleson said that the traffic issues and safely concerns associated with the show dwarf any benefit the events bring to the surrounding community, families, businesses, etc.

We strongly disagree with him, obviously. Plus, we’re worked extremely hard the past nine years making this C&C the biggest (and best) in the country. The last thing we want to do is charge admission and limit the amount of car enthusiasts that can attend.

We will announce our new location as soon as possible. Stay up-to-date and follow us on social media (@mncandc), along with our updated web site –

MN C&C 2.0 – will be amazing. No more issues with general parking either. If you want to roll-in with your car club and park next to one another, we will be able to accommodate you. The new location will allow us to continue to grow! And best of all, C&C will remain FREE, as all car shows should be.

Plus, we will be bringing in more food trucks, along with other special guests each month!

Although this change is happening quicker than we planned for, we are so excited to take this event to the next level.

We’re sorry to have to cancel the May show, but the city is standing firm on these new permit requirements.

Thanks for your years of support,
Tyler & Luis
