Event Update: MN Cars & Coffee Mississippi Mile Aquatennial Car Show (July 25, 2026)

 

Dear MN Cars & Coffee Community,

 

After careful consideration, we have made the difficult decision to cancel the 3rd Annual Mississippi Mile Aquatennial Car Show scheduled for this Saturday, July 25th.

This event has been a highlight for us over the past two years, thanks to the incredible turnout of cars, enthusiasts, families, and partners who made it special. We are deeply grateful for your enthusiasm and support.

 

Unfortunately, due to newly imposed, significant permitting costs by the Minneapolis Park & Recreation Board (which were not required in prior years through our partnership with the Minneapolis Downtown Council) and an unsuccessful appeal to Mayor Frey, we are unable to proceed. In our 18-year history, this is only the 3rd event we’ve ever had to cancel.

 

What this means:

•  The event will not take place this weekend.

•  As of right now, we will not be rescheduling the July show.

•  All pre-registered entries will be canceled. If your entry was approved, you will receive a full refund in the coming days.

•  We apologize for any inconvenience or disappointment—this was not an easy call.

We remain committed to MN Cars & Coffee and look forward to bringing you more free events throughout the rest of the season (check mncandc.com).
