$10 to Park
Closes Friday, July 8th at NOON!
Brought to you by:
THE SHOW IS STILL FREE, RIGHT?
Yes, it's free to attend, but if you want to park in the Leamington Ramp, the discounted event fee is $10. There are also a handful of other ramps right across the street, along with some metered parking too. Your $10 event parking fee is good for TEN HOURS at the Leamington (9AM to 7PM). After the show, grab some lunch!
FYI, each show costs about $6K per month with our lease, insurance, security, on-site sanitation, staff, supplies, and marketing expenses. If the ramp didn't charge you $10, our monthly expenses would be much higher.
I'D LIKE TO VOLUNTEER!
Having a show of this size requires a lot of volunteers to help things run smoothly. We ALWAYS are looking for more help! You'll get a free staff shirt, free rooftop parking, and free ramp parking. You'll get a front-row view of the show, meet new friends, and have some fun! Please message our volunteer coordinator, Alex Tang, at: firstname.lastname@example.org for more info!
I WANT TO SHOW MY CAR!
Great! Just make sure it's clean and ready to go. You'll be directed to floors 5, 6, or 7. We'll fill the ramp from the top down. Once it's full, you may park in the floors below, or circle back up to find an open spot. People will arrive and depart at all different times, so a spot could open up at any time. There are (1000) parking spaces reserved for SHOW cars. Please park in whatever spot the staff directs you to. If the show levels are full, or if the staff wants you to park in levels 2-4, please park where you are directed.
I WANT THE ROOFTOP!
If you want to guarantee a spot on the coveted rooftop on the 8th floor, you may pre-register your car with this link: MN Cars & Coffee Downtown Minneapolis at the Leamington Ramp (ticketspice.com)
The fee is $40. This will also cover your parking fee from 9AM to 7PM that day, so feel free to grab lunch afterwards. Why is it $40? This money is going directly to our security budget. We'll have (4) Minneapolis Police Officers on-duty, along with some security guards too.
If you do not want to "show" your car, it might be a good idea to park at a "less-busy" option like the Hilton Municiple Parking Ramp (1030 2nd Ave S) or the Marquette Parking Ramp (1111 S Marquette Ave).
BOTH are located right across the street! Park at either option, cross the street, and take the elevator to the top floor of the Leamington to begin your car show experience!
WILL IT BE BUSY?
Yes! Our events draw thousands of spectators. The Leamington Ramp is really big though. It has (6) elevators, (3) stairwells, (8) levels, and (2000) parking spots! You're going to see some really cool cars!
I HAVE A LIFTED TRUCK
The height limit of the ramp is 7' tall. For those with lifted trucks, you can park at the Interstate Parking Lot located at: 217 S 9th Ave. It's right across the street from the Leamington Ramp (on the NE side).
WHAT ABOUT MOTORCYCLES?
You may park on levels (2-4) of the Leamington Ramp. If you'd like to pre-register for a rooftop spot, you may do so here:
Please do not rev your engine, do a burn-out, etc. If you break these rules, you will be asked to leave immediately.
HOW DO I GET INTO THE RAMP?
Easy! You may enter on TWO sides of the ramp via So 10th St or So 11th St.
There are (3) ticket kiosks on each side. Just push the button, take a ticket, and find your spot!
WHERE ARE THE BATHROOMS?
The Port-O-Potties will be located on the street level near the main elevator bank.
WILL COFFEE BE AVAILABLE? VENDING MACHINES?
Yes! We'll have a coffee vendor on the rooftop by the sponsor area. If you'd like a soda, there are (3) vending machines located by the main bank of elevators on the first and second floors.
USE THE PRE-PAY KIOSKS TO EXPEDITE YOUR EXIT
Bring your parking ticket with you and use one of the pre-pay kiosks located by the main bank of elevators on the first and second floors.
We'll have (4) MPD squads working the show for us, along with some security guards walking the show areas. If you see anybody causing trouble, please call 911 immediately.
THE LOT IS FULL
If the Leamington Ramp is completely full, there are many options right next door! The Marquette Ramp (1111 S Marquette Ave), The Hilton Municiple Ramp (1030 2nd Ave S), and the Interstate Parking Lot (217 S 9th St) are all great options.
HOW DO I GET OUT OF THE RAMP?
You may use the S 10th St or S 11th St exits to leave the show. There are EIGHT ticket kiosks to use when you leave the show. To expedite the process, use one of the pre-pay kiosks located by the main bank of elevators on the first and second floors. The S 10th St exit will take you to 35W and S 11th St exit will take you to 394.
WHY DID YOU MOVE DOWNTOWN MINNEAPOLIS?
Each year, our show is getting bigger and bigger. If you attended our May show, we immediately filled every parking lot in less than 20 mins. The show spilled over to the surrounding lots too. We quickly realized that Southdale was just too small. So, while still wanting to have a central location to the Twin Cities, we needed a space that can handle a large number of people (and cars). We've been having conversations with our friends at the City of Mpls and they suggested the Leamington! The ramp is an airy space with open sides, so it there is plenty of natural light. Plus, if it rains, we'll be covered! It also has (2000) parking spaces with an additional few thousand more right across the street! The backdrop of the Minneapolis skyline is absolutely gorgeous too. We are very excited about this new spot!

About the Organizers
MN Cars & Coffee was founded in 2008 by Tyler Christopherson and Luis Fraguada.
They created MN Cars & Coffee to unite the local car community with an event that appeals to every motor-head. We are fortunate to have some good car shows in the area, but they tend to be a specific marque or genre of automobile. They wanted to create a car show that features EVERYTHING: Italian Exotics, American Muscle, British Classics, Japanese Tuners, and many more can be seen each month at the shows.
The event started at a small coffee shop in Minnetonka with only 35 cars. Word spread quickly, and by August there were over 200 cars. The huge success of the event necessitated a move to a garage complex in Chanhassen. The show had grown to over 1,000 show cars and 10,000+ spectators each month.
We had our first show of 2022 at Southdale Center in Edina. Needless to say, we didn't expect the MASSIVE crowd that arrived that day. We quickly realized the space was just too small. We are now moving the event to DOWNTOWN MPLS at the Leamington Parking Ramp! Easy in and out via 35W and plenty of parking spaces, this 9-story downtown location is the perfect backdrop for our show!
Lastly, it’s important to them that the event is FREE to the participants and spectators. It’s important that ANY car enthusiast can enjoy the show without having to pay to do so.
MN Cars & Coffee also plays host to the cars of The Kannonball Rally!
(80) teams launch from the Wisconsin Dells to the INDY 500 this year! This rally benefits a local school, Northern Voices, and each July, the organizers host a canned food drive and get local car clubs to compete against one another for the most donations. Then, each September, they rally for "The National Center for Missing & Exploited Children" on The KannonFALL Rally!
Their passion for the automobile industry began long before they can remember. From Hot Wheels and slot-cars, to sports cars and track days, they live and breathe cars. Please join them at the next event and share in their passion.
We’ll see you there!
